The Fest started on Friday about 5pm with vendors getting set up by 3pm, we had people showing up early for this event.
I did receive a phone call today from the council man Kevin Siembida thanking us for helping out with Leetonia's first Festival and they also said that they came out ahead and they will be using the money to invest into the Leetonia Coke ovens to preserve them. Business owners in Leetonia also benefitted from the crowd because they was browsing the stores while they were there. People were showing up to the event in crowds and we had thousands of visitors show up and all of the vendors did really well with sales and said they are interested in next years event.
The Genoskwa Project would like to Thank the people from Leetonia for letting us have this festival in their town and we were glad we could help raise money for this small town.
They are also interested in next years event. We would like to Thank Alan Fathom Frontiers for donating prizes for the bigfoot howling contest for first, second and third place winners.
Thank You guys for supporting TGP and this event, you guys are great!
We also want to Thank Mark for his prize donations for the howling contest for first, second and third place winners. Mark had several items for sale including but not limited to foot casts, drawings and books.
TGP appreciates everything that you do for us Marc! You are a great friend and Thank You for supporting The Genoskwa Project.
We also want to Thank all the other people that offered their services and help for the festival. Everybody did a tremendous job! Thank You!
We also want to Thank all people from Leetonia for getting things situated per TGP's request.
Dr. Meldrum's presentation was a great success and we received a lot of good feed back about his presentation and people Thanked us for having him.
I did get an opportunity to speak to Dr. Meldrum one on one and he is a very knowledgeable guy and it was a pleasure. Thank You again Dr. Meldrum for your appearance in Leetonia. The mask that Dr. Meldrum is holding came from Monster Man Dan Studios, this mask has been featured on Monster Quest and was shipped to Dan Baker over night so Dan could have this for the event, Monster Man Dan is a very talented artist.
We also received some sighting information from people that wanted us to check out specific areas and a gentleman and his wife was glad to show us a print that he casted and some interesting artifacts. What a great experience to talk to these people.
The Festival gathered several thousands of visitors from Ohio and several different surrounding states, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and many others. The Festival had a great turnout and Leetonia benefitted from the event.
The prices were reasonable and was good quality, I purchased one of the sasquatches for myself. Thank You for being at the festival Cobblestone.
They also told me that they will be having a sasquatch like these but 8ft tall.

We did have a hard time trying to pick first, second and third place because all contestants did an awesome job. Thank You everybody for participating in the contest!
Many people gathered around for this event, I think the spectators enjoyed this as much as TGP did.
He started out with knocking and howling and whoops and then repeated his demonstration.
We thought he did an awesome job too and I am thinking that he has practiced this before. Thank You for joining in the fun, everybody seemed to enjoy it.
Keep up the good work and hope to see you next year!
