got to it, it seemed to move to my right at a fast pace. I followed that tree line toward the noise and it brought me to an opening into another field and the sound kept moving to the left and back to the right, kind of in a zig zag pattern. I stepped into the field and the noise got louder and louder but I still could not see what was making it but it seemed as though it went deeper into the wooded area and it was almost like whatever it was wanted me to follow it. I stood there for a few minutes thinking it over but I had that feeling that it wasn't going to be a good idea to follow through. I just had that overwhelming feeling of something wasn't right with this occurrence and the hair seemed to stand up on the back of my neck. I recall saying to myself that something wasn't right so I did not continue to follow it.
I was discussing this with some colleagues of mine and they have experienced this same type of occurrence also and they didn't know what was making the same type of whimpering/yelping sounds either but they both told me that they retreated also because something just wasn't feeling right about the whole thing.
Could whatever this is be some of the reasons that people come up missing while out hiking? What could this be? I know that it quickly grabbed my attention and had me entering the woods in search of this sound. Could it have been an injured animal? Yes it could have been! Could this be the work of sasquatch? Also possible in my opinion. If you have experienced this type of occurrence yourself then you know the uneasy feeling that comes upon you and if you have please share it in the comments below. In my experience with this type of situation I advise that you do not follow it because you do not know what is out there and always be safe in your travels.
